Pastor Jay Noland & Mrs. Noland

Senior Pastor Dr. Jay Noland and his wife, Michelle, came to
Friendship Baptist Church in September, 2004. Pastor Noland is a graduate of Heritage Bible College and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and has earned the Doctor of Theology Degree from Slidell Baptist Seminary. He has been a preacher of the Gospel since July, 1983; and pastored Churches in Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina before coming to serve the Lord here at Friendship.
Dr. Noland also serves as an Evangelist and Missionary with the Gospel Preacher Association. He has preached over 100 Revival Meetings and has preached overseas in Grenada and Costa Rica on short-term mission trips.
Dr. and Mrs. Noland have been blessed of the Lord with three children and six grandchildren. Their son, Chris, is a Pastor in Maine. Their daughter, Joni, is married to the Assistant Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church. Their youngest daughter, Amy, has participated in several mission trips both in the U.S. and overseas.
Mrs. Noland serves as Church Secretary and teaches a
Children's Sunday School class.

Our Assistant Pastor is Bro. Eddie Bing. His wife, Joni, is the daughter of Pastor Noland and they have four children.
Bro. Eddie serves as Music Director and Adult Sunday School teacher. He has attended Liberty University and Southeastern
Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently enrolled in Slidell Baptist Seminary working towards the completion of a Bachelors Degree. Mrs. Bing also attended Liberty University and teaches a Children's Sunday School class.
